"5일 아침 커피 II"
추선 연휴 전전날이라
가시리 공기는 들떠있었고 날도 점차 눈부시게 밝아와
날마다 보이는 것이 아닌 한라산도 저멀리 또렷이 모습을 드러냈다.
As it was a few days before the Chuseok holidays,
the air of Gasiri was cheery and the day became brighter by the minute.
Even Mt. Halla was seen clearly from afar.
이 날은 유난히도 분주했고
또 그 만큼 다양한 마을 사람들을 만날 수 있었다.
It was especially busy that morning
and many people passed by the three-way intersection.
처음에는 많이 수줍어 하거나 낯설어 하던 사람들도
가까이 다가와 한 잔을 청하거나
하나 둘 인사를 받아주기 시작했다.
Those who were shy are slowly but surely
coming up, asking for a cup of coffee,
or exchanging greetings with me.
